About Us
Who is River Valley
River Valley in a canoe, kayak, and paddleboard rental service in the Upper Gatineau Valley. Offering a number of different self-guided tour options, River Valley serves the public with the option of exploring the Gatineau River.
River Valley is a family-friendly adventure service, available to cater to all different paddling levels. From beginner to expert, we have the tour for you.

Located in Kazabazua, Quebec on the Gatineau River, paddlers have access to to the upper Gatineau River from Gracefield to Low, QC.

Self-Guided Tours
A self-guided tour is includes the traveler has a planned route to follow from point A to point B.
Paddlers who choose to explore with self-guided tours receive specially designed maps to guide their journey, and recommendations on where to start and stop.

From River to Lake – Paddle the Gatineau River into the Lac-Sainte-Marie waters.

For an extra fee, equipment can be delivered to prearranged locations within the MRC Vallee de la Gatineau. Customers can also choose to rent a roof rack when renting a boat to have the availability of transporting rentals themselves.

Long term equipment rentals can be reserved for a period of one week.

Life jackets are included in the cost of all equipment rental.

Canoes, kayaks and SUPs can be reserved without booking a self-guided tour. These rental options can be used on location at Riverbend or elsewhere.

Renters must be 18. All paddlers under the age of 18 require consent, signed by guardian and or parent on rental agreements.

There are specific self-guided tours that are designed for beginner paddlers. These are the tours that we suggest customers take in the case that they are unfamiliar with the area or have never paddled before. These tours come with detailed maps that are designed to help paddlers navigate their trips.

To secure rentals a deposit is mandatory.
